CAMERA ACTION!

The making of Superman is incredible. The camering used to capture specific moments of the movie, really enhances the knowledge and interest of the film to the audience.

In one section of the movie, Lois Lane and Superman have a rooftop meeting ( just the two of them), and after expressing each other their inner feelings, the camera is moving from a medium shot two a close up shot, from this the feeling of of Superman and Lois kissing is presented emotionally.

When Superman flies from Earth to Krypton in search from his home town, a long moving shot angle is used to show the audiences that superman is flying across and that he is travelling at a high speed.

Metropolis- found in North America, is the home of Clark Kent and is a trading port, news, commerce, and urban island. During one sense in the movie the city of Metropolis was introduced and shown at a large scale to the audience. The motion of the camera was at a low angle and was enlarged in size then moved father and father away, to express how big the city was.

Overall the camering used throughout the movie, was at a high standard and really allowed the audience to connect with the movie and feeling that exactly what the characters in Superman returns felt.

I believe that it is thanks to the camera angles and shots that the movie was able to be exciting and was able to engage with the audience:)
